Joke NK
Joke NK. A DJ and producer from Paris with Congolese roots and a big part of the Dimension Klub collective. His style brings together Tech House, UK Garage, and Deep House in a way that feels fresh and full of energy.
The first time I listened to Joke NK live was at a Dimension Klub event during Paris Fashion Week. Held at Don Papa, the night was full of energy and featured some of the bumpiest House and UKG tracks you can think of. Joke, alongside his collective mates Yawy and Kim0, crafted a set that felt like a masterclass in musical curation. Seamlessly blending Tech House, UK Garage, and Deep House, the trio kept the room alive from the first beat to the last. Every track pulled us deeper into their world, and by the end of the night, it was clear Joke NK had a unique talent I couldn’t wait to bring to Seré Radio.
Born and raised in the Parisian suburbs (92) with Congolese roots, Joke NK’s music reflects a blend of cultural depth and fearless exploration. “I started producing when I was 16,” he shared. “I downloaded FL Studio, watched YouTube tutorials, and just went for it. Back then, it was all hip-hop beats, but two years ago, I started DJing and fell in love with the energy and creativity of the electronic music scene.”
Now a key figure in Dimension Klub, an eclectic DJ collective, Joke is part of a movement that’s reshaping the Parisian electronic music landscape. “Dimension Klub is about connection,” he explains. “The three of us have different styles, but together we create something that feels bigger than us—something that brings the audience closer to the music.”
Joke’s approach to DJing is thoughtful and intentional. “I want every set to feel like a journey,” he says. “It’s about giving people a musical and sensory experience, and I love introducing them to styles they might not know.” His Seré Radio mix captures this ethos perfectly—high-energy, uplifting, and full of surprises.
With inspirations like Carl Cox and Young Nudy, Joke NK’s sound is as versatile as it is powerful. He dreams of playing Circoloco in Ibiza and collaborating with Kanye West, but he’s equally focused on the present. With Dimension Klub’s first project dropping in 2025 and his own edits, remixes, and beats on the horizon, Joke is building something special.
